WHAT TO EXPECT

Itinerary

11:30 AM

Maggio Coffee

For your one day tour in Bangkok, you need to be at 11:30 AM at Maggio Coffee (also the meeting point). Before the tour departs, there is the possibility to have some refreshments at the meeting point. Prices start from THB 60 for food and THB 20 for drinks.

11:45 AM

Check-in & Briefing

Your guide checks you in and informs you about the tour itinerary. Your guide also provides you with instructions about how to earn discount by posting on your social accounts.

12:00 PM

Transportation to Canal-side Village

Travel by local transport to an interesting but little know canal-side village, with a much more easy going vibe than Bangkok’s city centre and where everything moves at a slower pace.

12:45 PM

Thailand's Most Luxurious Public Toilets

Photograph yourself using the country’s most luxurious public toilets, which attract streams of Bangkok day-trippers who come all the way to here to do exactly the same.

01:00 PM

Big Floating Buddha

Learn about the miracle of the floating Buddha statue and see a sacred log home to a female spirit who grants wishes. Wishes are also being granted if you can pick up, on your second attempt, one of the small golden elephant statues with your little finger.

01:15 PM

Ancient Wooden Market

Visit a 150 year old wooden market where the essence of the old way of life still exists and experience market community way of life. Try some of the interesting food sold in the market, including several of the community’s famous deserts.

01:45 PM

Towed Boat Bridge

Cross Thailand’s most innovative bridge consisting of two boats moored next to each other lengthwise and towed when people walk across as if it were a bridge.

02:15 PM

Thailand's Largest Reclining Buddha

Visit the country’s largest reclining Buddha image, where – compared to the circus at the famous one at Wat Pho – there are rarely any foreign faces. Besides Thailand’s largest reclining Buddha, it also happens to be the only place in the world where we can walk up into the Buddha. Inside, people are greeted with the text “Welcome people of Hell” and worshippers climb the interior to touch the Buddha’s golden heart. Do not forget to walk under the temple’s main chapel as this will grant you whatever you are wishing for.

02:45 PM

Wakeboarding Bangkok

Learn how to wakeboard with the help of your guide. The cable park is suitable for riders from all backgrounds, skill, age and gender. Besides wakeboarding, it is also possible to do wake skating. Kneeboards and basic wakeboards (both with straps) are included; advanced wakeboards (with shoes) are excluded (THB 300).

05:45 PM

Flying Chicken Restaurant

Witness a whole cooked chicken “fly” through the air and onto the spiked helmet of one of the waiters riding a unicycle. The waiter will then cycle over to transfer the chicken from this head to your plate. Besides the “flying chicken”, there is also “disco beef”, “immortal fish” and “ostrich in pepper sauce” on the menu. Prices start from THB 100 for food (the “flying chicken” costing THB 159) and THB 20 for drinks.

06:30 PM

World's Largest Restaurant

If the weather is not good enough for the stuntmen of the Flying Chicken Restaurant to perform their spectacular act (that means it is or has been raining), then we will have our bizarre dining experience at the largest restaurant in the world. Otherwise, we will just have a look here to see how the staff in Chinese costumes serves the up to 2,000 diners on roller-skates and how they fly from one end of the dining area to the other using a flying fox.

07:00 PM

Evaluation & Goodbye

Evaluate your one day tour in Bangkok and say goodbye to your guide and the other travellers in the group. Your guide helps you to get back to your accommodation or any other place you would like to go from Udom Suk BTS Station.
